In contrast to many of the other energy-based skin treatments, TotalSkin Solution leverages both RF microneedling and laser-based skin resurfacing to provide a minimally invasive approach to return skin to its youthful state by stimulating collagen production, normalizing coloration, and smoothing out wrinkles. The Genius RF microneedling system promotes the production of collagen in the layer of skin known as the dermis to tighten skin, reduce wrinkles and stretch marks, and smooth out the appearance of the surface of the skin by minimizing pore size. Genius RF is the only technology of its type that is approved for all skin types, from lighter to darker skin, setting this technology apart from other RF systems in the market. The LaseMD Ultra laser uses the element Thulium to deliver controlled laser energy to the skin to not only augment wrinkle reduction and skin tightening but also eliminate unwanted pigmentation, control acne, and improve any scars that might be present.

Prior to the procedure, a topical anesthetic ointment is applied. During the procedure, Dose Aesthetics offers multiple options to minimize discomfort including surface cooling with the Zimmer Cryo Chiller and self-administered nitrous oxide with Pro-Nox.
Compared with more aggressive regimens and energy-based techniques, the TotalSkin Solution™ offers maximum results with minimal to no recovery time. Mild redness and swelling of the treated areas can be expected and usually lasts 48-72 hours before completely subsiding. Results begin to show within hours after treatment and improve for up to six weeks, at which time treatment can be repeated if indicated.
